His Holiness the Pope meets with the social welfare priests in the tribal face dioceses
His Holiness Pope Tawadros II witnessed today Thursday the first social care priests’ meetings, which are organized by his Holiness’s secretariat for social care during the month of December each year.

The meeting includes introductory films about the Teach Your Son program that takes care of the education of the families listed in the social care system, the partners supporting the social care service, the visits and meetings held by the social care secretariat in many dioceseses throughout the year throughout the Karaza Markazia, and the King’s Daughter program that Concerns about covering the costs of girls’ marriage, and finally a video introduction to the one-body service performed by the priests of the New Egypt, Olive, Nasr City, and New Cities churches, and during this year has been able to provide the Blessing Bag on the Day of Resurrection to all the families enrolled in the social welfare program across the republic.
The meeting also included a word by His Eminence the Archbishop of the Archbishop, Critics and Discussion during which how to activate the role of Social Welfare and Development Offices in the Dioceses, a word by Shirts Bishoy Charles, Secretary of His Holiness the Pope for Social Welfare, another by Mrs. Alia Sirajuddin, Executive Director of the Ghabor Foundation for Development, a word by Rev. Luqa Maher and the monk Rev. Lazar Al-Maharqi, was held about Welfare and development committee vision at the holy compound. Engineer Magdi Al-Sharqawi talked about the development of the social welfare system.
The meeting concluded with a word of His Holiness the Pope, in which he welcomed the attendance and spoke on three points that are important foundations in social care service, namely:
1 – System, System, Commitment:
– System: System is one of the virtues that Christ taught us is to be organized in data, in files, at work, on time, even in your place of service. System gives beauty and enables system to exist.
– System: If you abandon the system, it distorts the work, there is a system in which you have a role as an organized person. And order and order need to comply.
– Commitment: to appointments, decisions and service… And so the picture goes together.
2 – Be honest:
Do not forget the commandment in Revelations “Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. ” (Ro 2 : 10). Be truthful in data in information, blessing increases in honesty and disappears in honesty is absent. Honesty till death not only at the beginning of service.
3 – Mercy:
You are our Father and from the beginning of your birth be like Christ tenderness, people need to see real tenderness in you, not to have a charisma in action or speech
